Meet Jessica
Born and raised in Habersham County, I still live in the same home where I grew up and now raise my two children, ages 8 and 4. After graduating from Habersham Central High School in 2007, I went on to earn my J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2014. In 2023, I founded Jessica Barrett Law, LLC, where I focus on serving my community with integrity and care. I was honored to be appointed by Governor Brian Kemp as the part-time Solicitor General of Habersham County, where I prosecute all traffic offenses and misdemeanors from the Sheriff’s Office as well as cases referred from the county’s nine municipalities. I also serve on the Executive Committee of the Solicitor Generals’ Association of Georgia and on the Habersham County Law Library Committee. My commitment to both family and community continues to shape the way I practice law and the way I serve the people of Habersham.
